Serving East, Mid and West Lothian since 1983
East Lothian, Midlothian and West Lothian are all inside our home patch. We design, supply and install throughout, and can usually get out to survey quickly.
Whether you want a showroom appointment in Edinburgh or a free quote from plans you already have, give us a few details and we will come back to you within one working day.
Homes in the Lothians get the same two choices as everyone else we work with: Impuls German kitchens for precision-engineered, built-to-order cabinetry, or our own bespoke handmade kitchens, hand-built in the Edinburgh joinery where we began in 1983.
We also design, supply and fit the worktops, sinks, taps and appliances, and handle the carpentry, electrics, plastering and building work. One team is responsible for the whole job, with one point of contact from first drawing to final handover.
Nowhere in the Lothians is more than a short drive from the showroom, which keeps surveys, snagging and aftercare simple. Typical lead time from order is 5-6 weeks, and every installation carries our 5-year guarantee.
North Berwick, Gullane, Haddington, Dunbar, Musselburgh, Dalkeith, Penicuik, Linlithgow, Livingston, South Queensferry and everywhere between. If you are outside this list we almost certainly still cover you - we design and install across all of mainland scotland.
The Lothians are our home patch, and we are usually able to get out to survey within days rather than weeks. Coastal East Lothian - North Berwick, Gullane, Dirleton, Aberlady, Dunbar - brings large villas where the kitchen is being opened out to the garden, often with an island, a boot room off the back door and a butler's pantry hiding the working end of the room.
Midlothian and West Lothian are weighted towards family housing: Dalkeith, Bonnyrigg, Penicuik, Livingston, Linlithgow and the new estates along the M8 and M9. Those rooms are structurally straightforward, so the money goes into layout, internal fittings, worktops and appliances rather than into making cabinetry fit an unsquare wall.
Between the towns sit the cottages, steadings and converted farm buildings where nothing is quite square and ceiling heights change halfway across the room. Handmade cabinetry earns its money here: units built to the actual dimensions, cornice scribed to a wavy wall, and tall storage taking the full height instead of leaving a dust shelf.
We also plan for how these houses are used - dogs, boots, coats, drying space and a second sink matter as much as the hob. Boot rooms, utilities and pantries are designed in the same finish and quoted alongside the kitchen rather than bolted on later.
Because nowhere in the Lothians is more than a short drive from Dalziel Place, snagging and aftercare are simple. If a door needs adjusting a season later, or an appliance needs a warranty visit chased, we are close enough to deal with it properly rather than posting you a part.
Electrics, plumbing, plastering, flooring and decoration are all carried in house, so a Lothians project runs on one programme with one point of contact from first drawing to handover.
Send your measurements, plans or just a rough idea. We reply within one working day.
A free CAD design and 3D visuals, refined in the showroom or remotely, whichever suits.
We survey the room before anything is ordered, so the quote you sign is the price you pay.
Our own team fits the kitchen in the Lothians, then hands over with a 5-year guarantee.
