Free design and quotation - no obligation
Design here means a plan you can build from, not a showroom render designed to close a sale. We draw the room properly, work to your cooking habits and budget, and give you a written specification you can compare against any other quote in the city.
Bring or upload architect drawings, a survey, an estate agent floor plan or a sketch with a few measurements. Design and quotation are free, and you own the drawings whether you order from us or not.
It starts with the room and the way you use it: how many people cook at once, where the bins and recycling go, whether you eat in the kitchen, how much dry storage you actually need, and what you dislike about the current layout. Those answers shape the plan far more than the door style does.
You get a scaled plan, elevations and visuals, plus a written specification listing every cabinet, worktop, appliance, sink, tap and item of ironmongery. Nothing is bundled into a vague line item, so you can compare it line by line with any other quote.
If you are extending or renovating, send the architect drawings early. Positions of windows, doors, services, structural openings and steel can all be worked around cheaply on paper and expensively on site.
We regularly work directly with Edinburgh architects and contractors, issuing services drawings so first-fix electrics and plumbing land exactly where the cabinetry needs them.
We design in both of our lines. Impuls German cabinetry is built to order in Germany with a huge range of internal fittings, handled and handleless doors and price groups to suit different budgets. Our own bespoke handmade cabinetry is built in the Edinburgh joinery to any size, in any colour, including in-frame and painted timber.
Because we design in both, the recommendation follows the room and the budget rather than the one product a showroom happens to sell.
Book an Edinburgh showroom appointment or send us your plans for a free quote. Either way you will hear back within one working day.
