Kitchens in Perthshire and Dundee

Perth, Dundee, Crieff, Auchterarder, Blairgowrie, Pitlochry and the Angus towns are all within our regular run north, and we cover them without a travel surcharge. Design normally starts from your plans so most of the process is finished before anyone travels, with a survey visit to confirm before ordering.

Perthshire stone villas and manses tend to have big kitchens with high ceilings, thick walls and odd proportions - a room where a handmade in-frame kitchen, a dresser and a walk-in larder read correctly. Dundee is different again: west end townhouses and tenement flats where storage has to be won back from an awkward footprint, and newer housing around Broughty Ferry and the city fringe where layout is the main gain.

Angus and Strathmore farmhouses want a working kitchen with proper support rooms: a cool larder, a utility that takes a second oven and a big sink, and a boot room that handles dogs, mud and wet coats. We design those alongside the kitchen in the same finish so the house reads as one scheme.

Where the property is rural we check access and delivery at survey - farm tracks, gates, yards and turning space - and time delivery to the installation so nothing sits in a barn waiting.

Impuls German cabinetry is built to order in Germany across several price groups, in handled and handleless styles, with the internal fittings that make daily use easy. Our own handmade cabinetry is made in the Edinburgh joinery, sized to the millimetre and hand-painted to any colour.
