Construction
IP 2200 steps up to a 19 mm front, which changes both how the door feels and how it hangs. The heavier panel sits more solidly on the hinge, the shadow gaps read tighter, and the extra thickness allows a deeper handle recess or a wider grip profile on the handleless versions.
The surface is again a pressed, resin bonded decor rather than a foil wrap, so it will not lift at the edges over a hob or dishwasher the way thermofoil doors can - a common failure we are called out to replace in older Scottish kitchens. Wood reproduction decors are printed and embossed in register, so the texture you feel follows the grain you see.
Everything is cut to order in Germany from panel stock, so the fronts for your kitchen are machined for your specific cabinet sizes rather than picked from stock door sizes. That is what lets us fill awkward tenement chimney breasts and sloping ceilings without filler panels everywhere.
Best suited to: The value sweet spot for most Edinburgh and Glasgow projects - a 19 mm German front, wide colour and wood choice, with the budget left for worktops and appliances.
